Reception

After picking you up from the airport or railway station, we may send you to the hotel reserved for you previously; If time permits and you are available, we can tour around the Jinli ancient town in Chengdu ,where we can appreciate the historic atmosphere of the ancient Shu kingdom ( one of the Chinese Ancient Three Kingdoms) and have a taste of the local snacks

Chengdu-- Dujiang Dam-- Lixian County—Miyaluo(255km in total)，

Accomodation in Mialuo（altitude:2000m）

We start off from Chengdu to Doujiang Dam and get to Yingxiu to visit the earthquake relics of 5.12. Passing Wenchuan, we go to visit Taoping Qiang Minority with its particular national culture. Then we travel along Zagunao River to Lixian County where there is the collective residency of Jiarong Branch Tibetans. From Lixian County to the Red Leaves Scenic Area in MiyaluoTown.

Miyaluo—Shuajing Monastery-Heishui River(black river)（153km in total)，

Accomodation in Heishui (altitude: 2200m)

Departing from Miyaluo, we go to pass the Partridge Tunnel, and Yakou Pass by the way of the Shuama Road intersection to Naizi Ravine in the region of colorful Forests of Heishui where we can take pictures of the autumn colors. Then we drive further to Heishui County. If time permits, we can also go to Daku Glacier.

Heishui—Kalong Valley—Maoergay Grassland -- Songpan （240km in total)

Accomodation in Songpan (altitude:2200m）

We drive from Heishui County in the morning to sightsee the colorful forests in Kalong Valley, where we can appreciate the autumn forests in different colors. Then we travel forward to pass the Maoergay Grassland before reaching Songpan ancient town.

Songpan --Huanglong --Jiuzhaigou (156km in total)，

Accomodation in Jiuzhaigou (altitude：1900m)

Setting out from Songpan, we get to Liangzi Snow Mountain Pass by the way of Chuanzhu Monastery, where we can catch sight of the continuous  Mingshan Mountain Range and its prominent peak, Xuebaoding(5588). Descending from the mountain, we reach Huanglong ,known as “fairy lake on earth”. In the afternoon, we go to visit Chuanzhu Monastery , then go to the “Fairy Land）, Jiuzhaigou(nine Tibetan village Ravine).

Jiuzhaigou

Accomodation in Jiuzhaigou( altitude：1900m)

We will take the tourist-dedicated vehicle to explore the beauty of the “fairy land”.

Note

Jiuzhaigou was said to be named after nine Tibetan villages inhabiting there. A saying in China goes like this: “AS one would not sightsee other mountains if he has been to Huangshan, so would one not see other waters if he had been Jiuzhaigou.” The most outstanding feature of Jiuzhaigou is its colorful and capricious lakes in different shape. The local Tibetans would call these lakes, Haizi. There we can tour around its three main ravines: Shuzhenggou, Rizegou, Chawagou.

Jiuzhaigou—Norgay--Tangk --Hongyuan（305km in total)

Accomodation in Hongyuan County（altitude:3500m）

Starting out from Jiuzhaigou, passing Chuanzhu Monastery and Gailitai, we reach the “west Sichuan Highland Oasis” Norgay, where we will visit Norgay Grassland. Then we get to the first tortuous bend of China’s Yellow River. It’s an amazing experience to see a winding river twisting like a holy dragon embedding in vast grassland. Going further, we get to the swamp grassland of Hongyuan which the red army once passed. Then we can take pictures of the Moon Bay with sheep and Yaks scattering here and there, madrigal echoing among tents.

Hongyuan --Zhuokeji—Mengbi Mountain—Four-Maiden Mountain Ranges（242km in total)

Accomodation in Rilong Town（altitude;3250m）

Departing from Hongyuan Grassland, we reach Zhuokeji Ancient Tibetan Bureaucratic Architecture where once located the Tibetan feudal official government in Chinese history. Just opposite this architecture seats a historic-significantly Tibetan village of Jiarong, where you can sense the most primitive and unsophisticated culture. Passing Mengbi Mountain, we get to the Colorful Forests where we can enjoy the beauty of red leaves and autumn scenery in different colors. In the evening, we reach Rilong Town, by the way of Lianghekou( junction of two rivers).

Four-Maiden Mountains--Danba（118km in total）

Accmodation in Denba(altitude:2000m)

We are heading for the beautiful Changpinggou Ravine in Four-Maiden Moutains. We then go to Jiaju Tibetan village (china’s most beautiful Tibetan village).

Danba--Bamei --Tagon --Xinduqiao --Kangding（229km in total）

Accomodation in Kangding (altitude:2600m)

We go to the Yak Valley in Danba, known as “the potted natural beauty”. Passing Gedaliangzi Pass, we can have a bird view of Yala Snow Mountain, and then we go to visit the holy place of Lotus Scripture, Huiyuan Monastery. We will further go to Tagong Grassland by the way of the white tower groups in Bamei. We can sightsee and visit Yala Snow Mountain and Tagon Monastery on the Grassland. After lunch, we are heading for the paradise for photographers, Xinduqiao, where we can take pictures as much as you like. Then we pass the first snow mountain with the height of 4000m, Zheduo Snow Mountain to get to the “home for romantic songs”, Kangding.

Kangding--Luding--Yaan--Chengdu（340km in total）

Accomodation：Chengdu

Starting from Kanding, we travel downward along the Great Span River to get to Ludingxian County. Then we go back to Chengdu by the way of Yanan and along our way we can also sightsee the red leaves on the Erlang Mountain.
