Accomodation in Jiaju Tibetan village in Danb(altitude：1900m)

We first head for the world natural heritage, Doujiang Dam. Downward along Mingjiang River, we reach Wolong Panda Conservation Base. Passing Balangshan Pass (4500m) and the Four-Maiden Mountains, we’ll get to Jiaju Tibetan village in Danba.

We’ll first visit the Suopo Tibetan tower groups, then go to Yak Valley and visit Huiyuan monastery.

Daofu--（71km）--Luhuo--（155km）--Seda--（116km）--Ganzi（342km in total ),

We travel to Luhuo where the famous Shoulin Monastery is located. Then we get to Seda County, where constellations of warrior-shaped ancient Tibetan architecture standing still on the mountain slope. Then we pass Nailong Holy Mountain and Donggu Monastery to get to Ganzi.

We’ll travel for several kilometers to visit the Gelu Lama Branch monastery, Ganzi Monastery.

We can also experience a Tibetan Buddhism exam in the way of debate on scripture. Traveling forward, we go to Maniganggo Town. We are to pass Queer Mountain Pass (5050m) to sense the danger of the natural barrier on the route of Sichuan-Tibet. Downward from the Pass, we pass a gorge before getting to the world-known Dege which is the cultural center of Tibet.

Note

On the way to Maniganggo Towm, there located the beautiful Xinhailu Scenic Area, which is the largest ice-eroded lake in Ganzi Autonomous Prefecture.

Here also resides a legendary Lama, Duojia, nicknamed “barefoot lama” who cultivate himself for 30 years in isolation in the mountain hole beside the lake. It is said that he could bare his feet in winter without being injured by frost, and he was regarded at the guard deity of the forests.

Dege--（85km）--Babang Monastery—(90km)—Baiyu(200km in total)

We are to visit Yingjing( scripture printing) Monastery (800-year history)in Dege. Departing from Dege, we travel to Babang Monastery. We can visit old monasteries with long history and rich Tibetan culture. Departing from Babang Monastery, we get to Baiyu County along Jinsha River.

Baiyu—Ganzi(229km in total)

We’ll visit Baiyu Monastery, where we can listen to the Lama chanting the scripture. Then we start off to Ganzi County, on the way to which we can sightsee the beautiful scenery of the Gorges, grassland and Snow Mountains, etc.

Ganzi—(95km)—Luhuo—(71km)—Daofu—(106km)—Tagong—(33km)—Xinduqiao(305km in total)

On our way from Ganzi to Luhuo, we can sightsee the Kasa Lake on the hillside of Luoguo Mountain Ridge. Then we will go to the “paradise for photographers” Xinduqiao by the way of Bamei and Tagon.

Xinduqiao—(83km)—Kangding—(49km)—Luding—(291km)—Chengdu(423km in total)

Accomodation in Chengdu (altitude: 500m)

We start off from Xinduqiao, passing the first snow mountain with the altitude of 4000m along the route of Sichuan-Tibet Highway, Zheduo Snow Mountain to get to “the home of romantic songs”, Kangding County. We go back to Chengdu, passing the Erlang Mountain Tunnel.
