Cycle Around Napa Lake in Napahai Grassland:
Napahai a seasonal lake lies on the northwestern Napa grassland of 8 km away from Zhongdian. The tract of grassland with an average elevation of 3266 and an area of 3125 km are a basin between mountains. Whenever the autumn comes, many kinds of birds will be here. They would fly over and stay around the tents of herdsmen casually. Everything here makes harmonious natural scenery.   

Napahai is called “Napaco” in Tibetan language, which means “lake hide behind forests”.　The vast grassland will exhaust your view and refresh your mind. Going deep, you will find more wild flowers studded in grass. These flowers are in various colors and shape that will fancy you in a fairy land. Lifting your eyes, you will see a view of green world with many limpid lakes mirroring the blue sky. And meanwhile you will see herds of sheep and yaks saunter around green lakes. If winter comes, there are more green lakes spreading on the grassland which attract the “highlands fair” Black-necked Crane to settle here.

We start off in the morning from Shangri-la to Gongbing Village in Napahai Grassland, which will take us 1h to cover 5km. The altitude is about3260m. On our way there, we will visit Gandansongzanlin Monastery. Then we reach Gongbing Village where we will enjoy the nature beauty to our heart content.

Bulun- downtown, mileage：5KM , altitude：3250M

The total mileage we cover is 32km and it will take us4-5hours .
